Seat Leon 2012
October 25, 2011 - Category Seat
The 2012/2013 Seat Leon will share a platform with the next-generation Audi A3 and the Golf VII, due next year and built on VW’s new MQB platform (“Modular Querbaukasten” in German). good look at the rear taillight clusters as they’re lit up during the night time testing run somewhere in Europe.
We expect the Leon to also share power plants with the new Golf (Mk VII). The 2012 Seat Leon will be available with both petrol and diesel engines, which will include the 1.4 TFSI and 2.0 TFSI and the 1.6 TDI and 2.0 TDI. The 2012 Seat Leon will be front-wheel-drive, but it’s possible the Spanish brand will also offer a four-wheel-drive version later in the model’s life.
The 2012 Seat Leon will be available with both a manual transmission and the DSG automatic gearbox. The Cupra will definitely be a part of the 2012 Seat Leon model range.
