Leaking fuel filter, Mercedes-Benz Recall Thousands Car

Daimler AG, Mercedes-Benz parent company, last week said it would recall 6872 units of diesel-engined production car. The reason for the withdrawal of the fuel filter sealĀ  cracked, causing the filter to leak. “Seal the filter was cracked due to engine components exposed to the heat,” a statement from the National Highway Safety Institute (NHTSA) United States as reported by detroitnews.com, Monday, October 17, 2011.

They are the Mercedes-Benz E-Class models 2011 (made ??in 2010), Mercedes-Benz S-Class 2012 (made ??in 2011), Mercedes-Benz R-Class 2011 (production 2010), as well as Mercedes-Bens ML-Class and GL-Class model 2011. The second recall will be carried out in November. Mercedes-Benz Dealers will repair cars on the list of recall, even if it is deemed necessary will replace the fuel filter seal.
