Jeep Patriot vs Toyota RAV4 – Which is Better
October 27, 2011 - Category Uncategorized
There is no denying that the Jeep is a pioneer in the manufacture of vehicles in that category. This is why it has given its name. Very few people use the term innovated SUV. All tall vehicles, most are called (and called) “jeep”.
Contrary to popular tradition, the Jeep Patriot does not come as a bully in the “battle” but as a usurper of the position held by the RAV4. Although undisputed arbiter is the market, we can see if the Patriot is the typical guarantees to hold down the East “rocket” as the name suggests it.
The main asset of the Patriot is certainly the appearance. All the characteristics that have made the Jeep popular in many markets. The square’s look combined with the mask with seven grills describes a classic off road car with American origins. The final aesthetic result is definitely more aggressive than the RAV 4, which is facing.
The Toyota looks more civilized and more oriented to daily use. The classic, now lines are more simple and elegant than its competitor, which it at first glance. In this case we are dealing with two of the best cars of its kind in the asphalt. The Jeep left the cars were “grudgingly” in the asphalt and the very earth and tries to balance both. The Patriot is really good on the road and, apart from the somewhat dry mounts, travel with him is a real treat. The ride quality is superb, while the aerodynamic noise is limited.
The RAV4, for its part, has already made history with its road behavior. Even as a depressed … coupe, gets small inclines and is extremely stable under all conditions. Excluding some aerodynamic noise at high speeds, something natural for a car this size, the driver will not ever realize that it does not clean tarmac car.
In soil and two cars also get high, the RAV4 to distinguish because of top quality construction. Despite the fact that our test car was … “Decrepit” for journalistic car (over 40,000 km), was a striking lack of noise and harshness. The Patriot also did a very good impression, but the confrontation with the leading of its kind has never been easier.
Offroad, the appearance of the Patriot seems to have decided for the result. However, despite the civilized character, the RAV4 reverses tips, and climbing everywhere (mutatis mutandis) as … ibex, while the Jeep followed suit, and a little more difficult.
Inside take different approaches, as the American Patriot squared logic must face the simple but acceptable sense of the Japanese. Surely the Jeep has more style, but on issues like the quality of both materials and assembly is a step below.
The spaces for passengers not differ in two cars and both can accommodate up to five passengers. This is not true of course with the luggage space, where the RAV4 wins in state battle, as the repository of the Patriot is less than expected.
