Infiniti Prepare To Compete Audi A3

Nissan Motor Company (Nissan), plans to produce new variants of the Infiniti – Nissan’s luxury brand – under the type of G. The car will be positioned as a competitor of Audi A3 and Lexus CT200h.
As reported by autoweek.com, Monday, July 4, 2011, Carlos Ghosn, Nissan’s Chief Executive Officer said, the car will be part of Nissan’s flagship 10 new models that will be launched through 2017 to come. “We have 64 Nissan Infiniti models have included 80 percent across segments in the world,” he said.
The Infiniti particular, Ghosn admitted, it will expand its marketing to the 71 countries. Currently, the brand has been marketed in 36 countries in both the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
Throughout June, the United States, Infiniti sold 47,268 units. Of these 60 per cent of which is the Infiniti G.
Nissan’s luxury brand division began to open an authorized dealer in Indonesia on 16 March. Unmitigated direct Infiniti introduced four variants of the three models of its flagship FX50 and FX37 crossover, M37 sport sedan and G37 coupe.
The letters indicate the model while the numbers behind it shows the engine capacity is carried. FX50 using a 5000 cc engine, the G37 and M carrying capacity of 3700 cc engine.
