Honda CRV Recall – Machinery and Transmission Problems

Honda Motor Company (Honda), announced it would pull the car over 2.49 million units in various parts of the world. Of this amount, about 1.5 million units of which are in the United States.
Honda said the problem occurs on the engine and transmission systems. The car engine suddenly died when a car driven and still rolling when parked and placed in the position of the transmission in “P” (Park).

“There were no injuries or death were reported due to these problems,” the statement from Japan’s manufacturers.
Chris Martin, Honda spokesman, acknowledged it had received 113 complaints. That number includes 45 complaints about the engine suddenly died and 11 complaints who called the car still rolling when parked.
Honda will update the software that controls the automatic transmission to facilitate movement between the teeth. In addition, the bearings between the canvas transmission will also be addressed. Because the problem with the component that has been a starter the car still rolling despite the transmission gear position is placed in position “P” or park.
