GM Recalling Chevrolet Colorado & GMC Canyon

National Institute for Highway Safety (NHTSA) United States has warned about the security of a Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon 2011 produced since 22 September to 5 November 2010.

As reported by NHTSA and quoted from autoevolution, Tuesday (17/05/2011) there is damage to the wiper both cars from the United States. NHTSA reported if the wiper motor on 2011 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon are not working properly when wiping the windshield.

Wiper motor 2011 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon are damaged so that obstruct views of the driver when driving in rain and snow conditions, and of course can lead to accidents. So far there are about 5,000 units of cars that were damaged wipers. There are currently no accidents reported due to damage two cars wipers.

But the NHTSA urged if the car manufacturers on dealers inform this damage to dealers in the U.S. and not burden this damage on car users.

Damage news to the wiper component cars in the U.S. of late are common. Earlier models of the Honda Odyssey has been pulled in the United States in 2011 due to damage to the wiper shaft is easily bent.

The danger stems from the wiper going to the ice. It can make the wiper shaft easily bent so that the wiper does not work normally and prevented driver views.
