Chevrolet already for Electric Spark EV Mini Car

Chevrolet’s already impressive portfolio of fuel efficient vehicles, the all electric Spark EV will run on a nanophosphate lithium-ion battery pack supplied by A123 Systems. Feedback from Chevy’s international demonstration fleets in India, Shanghai, and Korea are being incorporated into the new design to make it even more user friendly. It may even include eAssist technology, which powers OnStar safety, hands-free calling, and other convenient gadgets.

The Chevrolet Spark is one of the roomiest mini vehicles on the market, making it fun to drive and super economical to own. The car boasts tons of attitude with hidden rear door handles, a built-in tailgate spoiler and signature Chevy tail lights. The interior electronics and displays are compacted into a single stack, reminiscent of a motorcycle with a large speedometer as a centerpiece. The Spark is also ahead of the mini car curve with innovative NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) technology throughout its body, making each ride quiet and enjoyable. The Spark EV will be sold in limited quantities in select U.S. and global cities starting in 2013. More news is soon to come so we will be sure to stay tuned.
