BMW Confirms X4 for Production in 2014

Rumors about the length of the BMW X4 finally answered. BMW CEO Norbert Reithofer provide confirmation. In an interview with German magazine Auto Motor und Sport and quoted by page bmwblog.com, X4 codenamed F26.  BMW X4 will use the same platform with the X3, but its position is placed under the X5 SAV. One of the disclosed information is the length of 4.65 meters or X4 is the same as the F25 X3. The difference is the size of the trunk.

Reported from bmwblog.com,  X4 X3 will continue to use DNA, although at the front and the stern will use different. X4 will also use the X3 lineup of engines, including gasoline engine and four-and six-cylinder diesel. The BMW factory in Spartanburg, South Carolina, has been prepared to produce the X4. The plan, BMW X4 will launch into the market in 2014.
