Good news for American fans of Alfa Romeo. The brand is in the U.S. market with Alfa Romeo GTA 4C debut. Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne confirmed the fact and Chrysler, Alfa Romeo and is also based on the market with an SUV, the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Alfa Romeo 4C will go into production. The car is inspired by the 33 Stradale and the dizzying 8C Competizione.
4C is a 200HP with 1750Tbi with a new automatic Alfa TCT dry dual-clutch gearbox coupled power. The acceleration is pretty good – 0 to 100 km / h in 5 seconds and a top speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h (155 mph). Awesome reslts are due to the super-light 4C. It has a curb weight of just 850 kg.
With this performance 4C is a direct competitor to Lotus Elise, but we have to wait a while to see what the price of the small sports car.
The Italian manufacturer is also planning a convertible version of the car – 4C Spider. The summit will open his official debut in the 2011 IAA in Frankfurt.
Alfas are great cars and customers in the United States until the introduction of these vehicles to capitalize on the market.
