Next logical step after the Audi A7 luxury sedan for its S7 ??version. The S7 caught testing and evaluation by the lack of cover was on, we should expect to see a production version in the coming weeks. Further down the line – at the Frankfurt IAA – Audi, the new model shows, in addition to the S6 and S8.
Compared to the standard A7, S7 with larger wheels and larger brakes, a sportier front apron with larger air intakes will be distinguished, and quad exhaust pipes. The model also gets a sports suspension. Under the hood there is a new 4.0-liter V8 engine that will be used for the new Bentley Continental GT. It is still unclear whether we get a single-turbo 440bhp or 555bhp twin-turbo version, but either way, we expect a very impressive performance numbers of the new S7.
Confirmed with Audi at the 2011 New York Auto Show, the S7 will be coming to the U.S., though we can expect to wait 6 to 12 months after its European debut–likely meaning something in early or mid-2012, probably as a 2013 model.
