Chrysler Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne promised updates will be available shortly on the way to the U.S., Starting this week with the unveiling of the 2011 Chrysler Grand Voyager (Town & Country in the U.S.) . Sporting brand-new Chrysler emblem unveiled late last year, the 2011 Grand Voyager comes in a number of subtle but important updates, including some of the styling tweaks and new Chrysler Pentastar V6 gasoline engine.

On the back there’s a new bumper and tail lights subtly tweaked and a new tailgate chrome decorated completes the exterior updates. The cabin also has a scan with an updated instrument panel with a brand new instrument panel, along with a new steering wheel and controls. Materials have been updated, with soft-touch plastics and new fabrics and leather upholstery.
Power for the 2011 Grand Voyager comes from the same four-cylinder engine as its predecessor, along with the new Chrysler Pentastar V6, which has driven the newly launched 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee (to Australia next year).
The 3.6-liter V6 produces 209kW and 352Nm torque Pentastar, and the Grand Voyager is coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission. In Australia, the current Grand Voyager produced by a 3.8-liter V6 142kW and 305Nm driven significantly less torque. Other upgrades include revised suspension and handling, along with a fuel economizer to optimize fuel consumption.
