2011 BMW X3 Recalled Over Electronic Power Steering

BMW AG to recall 50 units of variant Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) BMW X3 is the latest. Reportedly, the device Electronic Power Steering (EPS) is suspected the car was not functioning optimally so potentially cause accidents.

Statement of Highway Safety Agency (NHTSA) United States, as reported by thecarconnection.com, Wednesday, July 6, 2011, mentions that the BMW X3 was recall is a model that was made on April 27 and June 8, 2011. “The car is the new car marketed a few months ago,” wrote the automotive site.

However, BMW reported that so far no accidents caused by such problems. Nevertheless, manufacturers of luxury cars from Munich, Germany, it would still make improvements in EPS and devices made from the end of this month. “Replacement is free of charge,” reads a press release BMW.
